Volleyball Game Preview: Braden River Pirates vs. Port Charlotte Pirates

Braden River will face off against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Braden River is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Braden River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against River Ridge as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Braden River never let River Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-16, 25-19.

St. Petersburg typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Port Charlotte proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a set and slipped past the Green Devils 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-99) Port Charlotte actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 17-25, 16-25, 15-9.

Port Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Braden River, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10.
