Baseball Recap: Wesson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wesson can now relate to. They came up short against the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws on Tuesday, falling 12-5. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wyatt Garrett was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Wesson's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for St. Stanislaus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-13.

Wesson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Stanislaus, they will head out to square off against Seminary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Bulldogs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
