Basketball Preview: Pasquotank County Panthers vs. First Flight Nighthawks
Pasquotank County hasn't had much luck against First Flight recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pasquotank County Panthers will take on the First Flight Nighthawks at 7:30 p.m.
Last Thursday, Pasquotank County lost to Currituck County at home by a 71-57 margin.

Meanwhile, First Flight entered their tilt with Northeastern on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Eagles out 54-52. The 54-point effort marked the Nighthawks' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Pasquotank County better keep an eye on Mason Dobie. He was instrumental in First Flight's win, posting 26 points. Dobie's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Carlyle, who posted 11 points.
Pasquotank County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for First Flight, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
