Basketball Game Preview: Atlantic Coast Stingrays vs. Temple Christian Academy

The Atlantic Coast Stingrays will head out on the road to square off against Temple Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Atlantic Coast lost 59-38 to Oakleaf on Saturday. The Stingrays haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Temple Christian Academy came up short against Baker County on Friday and fell 61-51.

Temple Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Atlantic Coast, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Atlantic Coast came out on top in a nail-biter against Temple Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, sneaking past 63-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Atlantic Coast since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
