South Central came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-52 W against the D.H. Conley Vikings. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Vikings are ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

D.H. Conley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayden Hill, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Samari Cabell, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.

South Central's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for D.H. Conley, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither South Central nor D.H. Conley have any future games scheduled.
