Volleyball Game Preview: Camanche Indians vs. Cascade Cougars

The Camanche Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Cascade Cougars at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Camanche lost 3-0 to Anamosa on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cascade faced off against Monticello on Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Camanche's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cascade, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Camanche was able to grind out a solid victory over Cascade when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
