Dalton entered their tilt with Wooster on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Generals. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Mei Simmons spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lily Teague was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Dalton pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wooster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton will square off against Chippewa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wooster, they will challenge New Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
