Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Akron-Fairgrove). They came out on top against the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers by a score of 64-57 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 51-48 loss.

Akron-Fairgrove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-14 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. Carsonville-Port Sanilac is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Akron-Fairgrove and Carsonville-Port Sanilac will both be playing Caseville the next time they take the court. Carsonville-Port Sanilac will host Caseville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Akron-Fairgrove will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
