Football Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wakefield extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They took a blow against the Millbrook Wildcats, falling 55-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Wildcats are ranked fifth).

As for Millbrook, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 37.2 points thus far.

Millbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brilison McCullers, who rushed for 59 yards and two scores, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another passer making a difference was Bryson Gray, who threw for 196 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.
