Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Prep). They blew past the Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders 49-5 on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-4.

Trinity Prep found their leader in freshman Lena Chan, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian Hennebery, who put up 11 points.

Trinity Prep's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will host Forest Lake Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneva at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
