Softball Recap: Meigs County Takes a Loss

Meigs County fell victim to Sweetwater and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Wildcats. The match marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Meigs County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Sweetwater, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Meigs County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-5 defeat against McMinn County on the 24th. As for Sweetwater, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Copper Basin on the 21st.
