Recap: Glens Falls Indians vs. Broadalbin-Perth Patriots
It was a good run, but the Glens Falls Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Broadalbin-Perth, falling 62-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Glens Falls has scored all season.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gianna Endieveri, who scored seven points. Carolyn Lunt was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Glens Falls' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Broadalbin-Perth, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glens Falls won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tamarac at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. Queensbury is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
