Basketball Game Preview: Sutton Sammies vs. Uxbridge Spartans

Sutton is 6-1 against Uxbridge since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Sutton Sammies will be taking part in a tournament against the Uxbridge Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Sutton needed a bit of extra time to put away Blackstone-Millville. They secured a 56-52 W over the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Uxbridge hadn't done well against Northbridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Uxbridge walked away with a 56-44 win over Northbridge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

The victory got Sutton back to even at 9-9. As for Uxbridge, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Sutton strolled past Uxbridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 52-37. Will Sutton repeat their success, or does Uxbridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
