Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Corde Jefferson and Cale Hanks Lead Dadeville to Victory + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Dadeville were the clear victors by a 33-10 margin over Childersburg. Dadeville hasn't had any issues with Childersburg recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Dadeville was led to victory by Cale Hanks and Corde Jefferson. Hanks picked up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Jefferson rushed for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. Jefferson is becoming a predictor of Dadeville's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't).

Dadeville's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as six different players picked up one apiece.

Dadeville picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Childersburg, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dadeville will host Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Childersburg, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Winterboro at 7:00 p.m.
