McKinley hadn't done well against Poland Seminary recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Red Dragons' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout. Give McKinley's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kherington Stanford, who's now up to 34 this season.

McKinley's win bumped their record up to 11-0-1. As for Poland Seminary, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-2.
