Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Christian can now relate to. They came up short against the Alleluia Community Angels on Saturday, falling 3-0. Trinity Christian hasn't had much luck with Alleluia Community recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-6.

Sydney Lane paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up two kills. Lane got some help from Abby Flattich and her two assists. Finally, Kelly Mills kept Trinity Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Alleluia Community, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-5.

Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alleluia Community, they will welcome Atlanta International at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
