Football Game Preview: Chase Trojans vs. Hibriten Panthers + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Darin Tipton and Elan Lipford are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Chase Trojans will head out to take on the Hibriten Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chase has given up an average of 26.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chase had taken R-S Central down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Trojans were outmatched by the Hilltoppers and fell 42-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered against the Hilltoppers since November 3, 2017.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hibriten, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat East Burke 37-8. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chase better keep an eye on Dk Mitchell. He was instrumental in Hibriten's win, rushing for 60 yards and a pair of scores. Dexter Mosley got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hibriten's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points on average over those games. As for Chase, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Chase has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 163.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hibriten struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 196.4 rushing yards.
