Softball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva lost against Glenbard North back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 20-4 to the Panthers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneva saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sloane Fisher, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Chase Salnick was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Glenbard North, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Geneva didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against St. Charles East on the 30th. As for Glenbard North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wheaton North on the 30th.
