Softball Recap: Paschal Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Paschal put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Trimble Tech Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Paschal pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Trimble Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Paschal will challenge rival Arlington Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trimble Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
