Basketball Recap: Kittatinny Regional Comes Up Short

Kittatinny Regional lost against Hopatcong back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kittatinny Regional Cougars took a blow against the Hopatcong Chiefs, falling 81-20. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kittatinny Regional dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hopatcong, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kittatinny Regional will take on Mountain Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopatcong has already played their next contest (against Dover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
