Soccer Recap: American Heritage Gets the Win

American Heritage had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oasis Sharks on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Stallions were the better team in the second half.

Ryan Ashley and Montgomery Byers scored both of American Heritage's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

American Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Oasis, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

American Heritage has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Somerset Academy - Canyons on the 19th. Oasis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
