Atchison County is on a 15-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, McLouth an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Atchison County Tigers will host the McLouth Bulldogs. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long.

Atchison County is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Pleasant Ridge on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Atchison County was outmatched by Pleasant Ridge and fell 74-32. The Tigers were down 57-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, McLouth didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson Heights on Friday and fell 59-56.

McLouth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Atchison County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Atchison County came up short against McLouth in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 55-42. Can Atchison County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
