Basketball Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short

Little Elm lost against Flower Mound back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Little Elm Lobos took a 52-38 bruising from the Flower Mound Jaguars. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Little Elm lost, don't look at Shiloh Kimpson. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Kimpson a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Drake, who had eight points.

Even though they lost, Little Elm smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Little Elm's record is now 6-21. As for Flower Mound, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-2.

Little Elm will take on Coppell at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flower Mound, they will square off against Lewisville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Flower Mound is facing Lewisville at the right time seeing as Lewisville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
