Baseball Recap: Graham Local Victorious

Graham Local has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They skirted past the Russia Raiders 11-10. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Graham Local let Breyton Reisinger and Adam Levy run wild. Reisinger went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Levy went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Levy has become a key player for Graham Local: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Jack Traylor also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Graham Local's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Russia, they moved to 12-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Graham Local will host Bellbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Russia, they will head out on the road to take on Botkins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
