Baseball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Triumphs

Emmanuel Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Graceville Tigers by a score of 9-6. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Tigers on March 5th, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Levi Parrish made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four runs.

Parrish wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cooper German, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run. Another was Steven Hinderliter, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Emmanuel Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Emmanuel Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Graceville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Emmanuel Christian has already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Bethlehem on the 31st. As for Graceville, they will welcome Ponce De Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
