            Softball Recap: Randleman Tigers vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Randleman hadn't done well against Eastern Randolph recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Randleman Tigers came out on top against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats by a score of  6-1. The  win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.
 Kaylee Phillips was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Natalie Roach, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Randleman  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Randolph struck out 13 times.

Randleman pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Eastern Randolph,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randleman will host Montgomery Central  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Montgomery Central has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.83  runs per game on average), something Randleman will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Eastern Randolph, they will welcome Wheatmore  at 6:00  p.m.  on March 18th.
