Baseball Recap: Marshwood Hawks vs. Falmouth Navigators

Marshwood proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Falmouth Navigators a 1-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Gus Alexander looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Marshwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Reimels, who went 2-for-4 with one run.
