Basketball Recap: Sturgeon's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Callaway, Sturgeon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Paris/Faith Walk Academy by a score of 53-44. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sturgeon's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Paris/Faith Walk Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Sturgeon will be playing at home against Wellsville-Middletown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paris/Faith Walk Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
