Baseball Recap: Tylertown Comes Up Short

Tylertown lost against West Marion last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tylertown came up short against West Marion, falling 21-2. The Chiefs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Tylertown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for West Marion, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tylertown is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Stanislaus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Marion will take on rival Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
