Preview: Fredericksburg vs. Eastside Memorial
Eastside Memorial has a chance to get its first conference win this week when it squares off against Fredericksburg on Thursday at 7:30 PM. Eastside Memorial is limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak.
Eastside Memorial had a rough outing against Boerne last week, losing 42 - 0.
As for Fredericksburg, it suffered a painful 35 - 12 defeat to Taylor last week. The loss came about despite a quality game from junior William Sebera, who earned one touchdown and 144 yards rushing the ball. The touchdown for Sebera was a punishing, defense-defying 73-yard dash in the second quarter.
After their losses, Fredericksburg dropped to 5-4 and Eastside Memorial dropped to 1-7. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point (Fredericksburg has lost three in a row, Eastside Memorial seven), but at least one team's bad luck is about to end.
