Football Recap: Norland Skates Past Jensen Beach with Ease

It's playoff time, and Norland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Jensen Beach Falcons to the tune of 49-14 on Friday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Falcons are ranked 139th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points over those games. As for Jensen Beach, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Norland has already played their next matchup, a 24-14 defeat against Archbishop McCarthy on the 21st. Jensen Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
