College Place put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Cashmere Bulldogs as College Place made off with a 26-11 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by ten runs or more this season.
Adrienne Berube and Graycelyn Tonn did most of the damage at the plate: Berube got on base in five of her seven plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one stolen base, while Tonn scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances. That stolen base was Berube's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Moore, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.
College Place kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
