After a string of five wins, GALA's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Franklin Panthers. While the Goddesses didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 6-0 in the first quarter.

GALA's loss dropped their record down to 12-3-1. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 9-7-2.

Coincidentally, GALA and Franklin will both be playing King/Drew the next time they take the field. The Goddesses will host the Golden Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
