It's playoff time, and Sedgwick County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Holyoke Dragons on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in October.

Lainee Nein paced Sedgwick County's offense, picking up 14 kills. Nein got some help from Addison Renquist and her 15 assists. Finally, Piper Buettenback kept Sedgwick County's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Courtlyn Kinnie, who had 20 digs and one assist.

Sedgwick County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Holyoke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-7.

Sedgwick County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Swink on the 15th. Holyoke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
