After only eight points in their last matchup, Early County made sure to put some points up on the board against Schley County on Friday. The Bobcats breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 33-6. The Bobcats pushed the score to 27-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Devonis Lee had a dynamite game, rushing for 90 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Lee was just one part of a punishing run game: Early County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 378 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Schley County only rushed for 31 rushing yards.

Early County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Schley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Early County and Schley County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bobcats will face off against rival Miller County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Schley County is set to square off against their familiar foe Chattahoochee County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
