Football Recap: Montello Takes a Loss

Montello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Wayland Academy Big Red 44-8.

Montello's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wayland Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Montello is set to face off against their familiar foe Princeton/Green Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wayland Academy will square off against rival St. John's Northwestern Military Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
