Softball Recap: Hixson Takes a Loss

Hixson lost against Bradley Central back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 8-4 to the Bears. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hixson saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brantley Bruggink, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Hixson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Bradley Central, they moved to 11-14-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Hixson will be playing at home against Girls Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bradley Central, they will head out on the road to take on Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
