Volleyball Recap: Cascade Triumphs

Cascade won the last time they faced Battle Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Champions walked away with a 3-1 win over the Grizzlies.

Cascade had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

The victory got Cascade back to even at 1-1. As for Battle Creek, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cascade is set to square off against their familiar foe Forrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Battle Creek will take on rival Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
