Basketball Recap: Charleston Math & Science Takes a Loss

Charleston Math & Science lost against Goose Creek back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Riptide took a hard 55-38 fall against the Gators.

Loss or not, Charleston Math & Science got some senior leadership from Haasawn Todd and Zion King. Todd posted 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while King earned 18 points in addition to five boards and four steals. King has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 28 times he's played.

Charleston Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Goose Creek, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Charleston Math & Science didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-54 victory against Academic Magnet on the 29th. As for Goose Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-41 win against Pinewood Prep on the 29th.
