Basketball Recap: Coahulla Creek Takes a Loss

Coahulla Creek was the 63-54 winner over Ringgold when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Coahulla Creek Colts were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 50-49 to the Ringgold Tigers. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coahulla Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carter Quarles, who posted 15 points along with five boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Quarles a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Gage Voyles, who scored 13 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds.

Coahulla Creek's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Ringgold, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-13.

As of now, neither Coahulla Creek nor Ringgold have any future games scheduled.
