Soccer Recap: Lake Minneola Plays to a Tie

It was a Battle of the Birds when Lake Minneola faced off against South Lake on Thursday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Hawks have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Lake Minneola's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-2. As for South Lake, they moved theirs to 4-6-4.

Lake Minneola didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Lake Gibson on the 10th. As for South Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Citrus on the 10th.
