Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Covenant Christian Academy's 14th in Last 15 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sugar Hill Christian Academy, Covenant Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the North Georgia HomeSchool Tribe as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Covenant Christian Academy never let North Georgia HomeSchool on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 25-23.

Covenant Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Isabel McGilberry and McKenna King, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Clara Roughton and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Covenant Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Covenant Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Notre Dame Academy on the 2nd. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Cottage on the 7th.
