Dylan Rubio paced Catalina Foothills' offense, picking up four kills. Rubio got some help from Zane Schwartz and his ten assists. Rubio was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Catalina Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Basic, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-6.
