Football Game Preview: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Evergreen Wolverines + How To Watch

The Cedarcrest Red Wolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Evergreen Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedarcrest will be strutting in after a win while Evergreen will be coming in after a loss.

Cedarcrest had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Foster on Friday. The Red Wolves simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 41-6. The Red Wolves pushed the score to 41-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Cyrus Malone produced another solid performance rushing for 107 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-0 to Interlake, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cedarcrest, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Cedarcrest against Evergreen when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
