There's no place like home for Evans, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Apopka Blue Darters 35-0 on Friday. The Trojans were shut out 6-0 the last time they took on the Blue Darters, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

Evans got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carl Jean-Bart out in front who picked up 130 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Omyry Hickson, who gained 95 total yards and a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Evans' defense and their 5.5 sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Christopher Sanon and James Bourroughs, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.

The win got Evans back to even at 1-1. As for Apopka, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Evans has already played their next game, a 28-25 victory against Jones on the 6th. As for Apopka, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-7 defeat against Dr. Phillips on the 5th.
