Soccer Recap: Cocoa Gets the Win

Cocoa proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by five) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Atlantic Sharks a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for Cocoa, who suffered a 1-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cocoa's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Atlantic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Cocoa will face off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cocoa surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atlantic, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Father Lopez at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
