Basketball Recap: Kent-Meridian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Kentlake + How To Watch

Kent-Meridian scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kentlake Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 62-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Kent-Meridian's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4. Those home losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Kentlake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Kent-Meridian will head out to challenge Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals will be up against the Golden Gators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 78.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kentlake, they will be home for the holidays to greet Beamer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
