If Somerset was riding high fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Bellefonte on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 8-3 to the Mount Union Trojans on Monday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Somerset saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Lambert, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Lambert's first of the season.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Mount Union, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
