Basketball Recap: Ida Takes a Loss

Ida lost against Madison back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ida Bluestreaks took a 35-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Trojans.

Madison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aniyah Jones led the charge by putting up seven points. Jaeda Parish was another key player, earning eight points.

Ida's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Madison, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Ida wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-40 victory against Hudson on the 21st. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-22 loss against Blissfield on the 20th.
