After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Bellevue East brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Omaha Northwest Huskies 42-0 on Friday. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Owen Grieb was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 82 receiving yards and three scores. Jackson Henry made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Bellevue East's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Omaha Northwest, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellevue East will face off against rival Millard West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Omaha Northwest is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln North Star on Friday.
